This hotel is in a modern building in the heart of Akureyri, a charming town on a fjord on the north coast of Iceland. The Hotel Edda Akureyri is a student residence for much of the year, but operates as a hotel between 14th June and 27th August. It offers comfortable, spacious, clean accommodation at reasonable rates within walking distance of the centre of town. With good value, non-smoking accommodation and a convenient location, the hotel is a good base for exploring all that Akureyri and Iceland’s northern coast has to offer.

The hotel’s restaurant has a capacity of around 150 people and serves a buffet dinner as well as an à la carte menu. A small café is situated in the reception area and, on sunny days, guests can relax on the veranda.
